Pastoral Setting
One of my favorite places on the farm. I sometimes stop my pick-up here and... (as my Dad used to say), "sometimes I like to just sit and think,,,but most times I just sit".
I just finished combining my last crop. Retirement may need some soul searching this winter so can I maybe use your spot until spring? Then it will be GOLF. Blue
Have at it Blue. Man, that must have brought a tear to the eye. I'm afraid that would be like walking your daughter down the aisle. But,,,congrats and see you on the course.
What a wonderful place to be able to go. Makes me think of when we lived on the farm. I had a special place that I loved to go to. Ethan was just a baby then, and we spent many a warm day there. Haven't thought about that in years. Thanks for sharing.
Magical. I can easily see why it's restful. The woods is why we bought our home. (There's no farm here, but we do have a glorious wooded backyard.) I just donated a acrylic painting/collage I made to help raise funds to make a community multi-arts center a reality. It was a forest scene and I'm happy it sold before the auction. I hope it brings relaxation to the owner, like your spot does to you.

I like your dad's wisdom!!
PS/ It looks like you're getting spammed - it might be time to go to blogger and activate your "word verification." That will stop it these cretins.
Cliff
I believe I could get a lot of 'thinking'done there myself.

What a lovely spot to stop and meditate! Are those bee hives in the distance on the right?
Thinking is OVER rated!!!! Where ya been?
yes Rachel, those are beehives. A man from the neighboring town keeps them there. Things get pretty beezy on warm fall afternoons.

I was going to ask Rachel's question about the beehives. My dad was a beekeeper.
And if would be better if you didn't show those kind of pictures. Suddenly I'm learning what lust means.

We all seem to have a favourite spot Cliff, I must dig up a photo of mine sometime soon.
That looks like a perfect place for mind numbing relaxation. Thinking is overrated.

I saw something similar about online shopping store
Cliff,
I bet I could have a swell nap at that hideaway. Everyone needs their Fortress of Solitude...even Superman.
Ohhhh - bee hives hut thingies. I was just going to ask if you had a nice coffin that you stopped to visit now and again and who might be in it.
Phew - I don't want to think you're "too" nutty. :)
