Hey! Cool you were on TV. Karen
Cliff, I'm sorry about your rough year with water. A rough year stinks, hopefully it will only be a rough year and not more than that!
We've had a very wet summer, and I'm sure Nebraska got a lot more rain than we did. Most of our farmers are smiling, unless they're the ones farming the river bottom. There were NO crops planted on our nearby river bottoms.
Hey Cliff, which guy was the one who doesn't know what he's talking about????
Hey I know someone famous.... he's been on TV.
I was talking about myself Peter.
The 17 inches of rain we recieved in June pretty well did us in.
Does the TV star charge for autographs?
Dude! That guy looks JUST LIKE YOU. What's funny is he has a farmer and the same name, too!!! Huh?
Small world, no?
Sorry, Cliff. You know what they say at Kansas State before the season even begins? "Wait'll next year." I hope the Lord will grant you high favor for next year.
...and now I can say that I knew you before you became a TV star.
Hi Cliff! Great seeing you on TV!! I'm sorry your crops didn't do as well and you didn't get to plant all your fields. Hopefully next year will be better. That is the life of a farmer though. Weather plays a very important role, and interesting to note that the location of land also plays a huge part.
Great seeing you again... even if only on TV! ~ jb///
Good job, Cliff! I am sorry about those low places. The ag economist would tell you 'cost benefit analysis' will tell. :)
..
BTW, did they have a script for your and a telepromter or did you read notes from your palm?
