I've had my boat insurance with Progressive, but had recently heard some very disturbing news about it's CEO and his philantropy's.
I looked up his bio and found that what I had read is true and have decided that the ACLU and George Soros do not need my help bringing this country to an end. They're both succeeding in that endeavor with out my money.
He'll need to look elsewhere for my couple of hundred dollars.
It was as much fun as I could have had without laughing.
...Okay, I did laugh.

Good for you. A person can either view their small contribution as nothing and do nothing (or what helps themselves financially) or they can see it as immoral to give any money to a company that supports and encourages sin.
We all take our pleasures where we can. I took pleasure in changing homeowners insurance last summer. It wasn't the company, though, it was the local sales guy that caused my dissatisfaction.
Yes Lanny, this will cost me some money but it will be worth it because I'll be dealing with a capitlist company who believes in capitalism.
I've stopped going to businesses before because of political or charity connections. I know I was less than a drop in their bucket, but I felt better anyway.
:) Is there no Farm Bureau Insurance Co. out there for farmers?
I have had our same insurance agent for 40 years. Thankfully he is a friend and I know his politics. If I find out unsettling stories about the companies he writes us with, I will just tell him to change us. Meanwhile what I don't know won't hurt me....right?
Applause, applause - on several levels, Cliff. I DO wonder how many people are aware how many strangling tentacles George Soros has wrapped around multiple vital organs of this republic of ours and the agenda to collapse the US dollar. Moreover, his progressive agenda is focused on the US House and Senate membership to be representative of the worlds nations, NOT the US citizens and states.
I agree with Ev, Cliff.... We don't need to be supporting the George Soros clan.... Good for you in making that simple change...
Good decision!
Cliff ~ Progressive defines Soros' political agenda as well as his company. Let's face it... the guy has a "negative air co-efficiency".
I hope that you guys had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year? Mrs. LZ and I spent the holidays at her mom's place in San Francisco. We had to watch the Bowl game on her PC on ESPN3.com which was only the beginning of a very bad night... (as I'm sure you know)? Good thing we only lost $150k on that thing. Our first morning back at home and I read in the OWH that T. Magic is coming back next year. I guess that's good? I did find myself yelling during the bowl game "put in CODY GREEN" way too many times though. ~ jb///
Good for you!
Every little bit helps Cliff. If more people did that all those 'little bits' would turn into a sizable chunk.
Ralph
I've done the same thing at that big orange hardware store. There are many other stores that don't "throw it in your face."
