On the left is our 12 year old grandson who is a resident on this same farm. In a game last week his Uncle Tom came up to watch a midweek game. Not an easy task as he brought his 3 boys along. His wife was closing at work that night so he was unaccompanied on this trip. The oldest boy is 3 years old but Tom handles it all in stride. Colton appreciated it and rewarded 'Unca Toms' 180 mile round trip with a win. Three hits and scoring twice made the smiles here pretty easy. By the way, I think these two are the same height at just short of 6 foot.

12 years old, and 6' tall? That boy is a tall drink of water!
What in the world is with these boys today? All five of our grandsons are 6' or more. However I don't believe any of them were 6' at age 12. They will be recruiting Colton for basketball very soon. Or maybe Hollywood will be in search of a new handsome leading man. (Okay Cliff, I know you would NEVER let Hollywood have him.)
Good for Colton. Three hits and 2 runs was well worth Tom's trip.

Cliff, the thing I remember most about your family was that everyone played baseball. I think the girls some too although I could be wrong.
I see it is running in the family good and strong. Congratulations on the win for 'Uncle Tom' and Grandpa too I'm sure.

Wow, Colton has really shot up there. He looks real happy in the photo, and so does Tom!
I hope the water didn't get to your house? I've wondered about you all and hoped you stayed high and dry!
What a great thing for him to do. That trip was quite an undertaking.
6 feet? I guess it's been a l-o-o-ong time since I've seen Colton. Glad he brought in a win for Uncle Tom.
Are you staying dry, Cliff?
Yeah we're dry and think now that we'll stay that way pending a huge regional rain. Thanks for askink J.
Woo-hoo! Great night for a big win and a memory. Glad to here you're dry now, Cliff.
Can't believe Colton is 6' already. Wow! What a great photo.
Amazing what dads can accomplish! Colton is a very sweet looking young man.
Hope all things are going well for you and yours.

I thought I'd posted here a few days ago.
Anyway, this is a great post. Some of my favorite memories are of watching our son's LL games. Now he's building his own memories watching his sons. Circle of life, I guess.
