Marilyn's Pole Beans


We bend these 4 X 16 foot panels in a hoop and stake the ends to the ground. Marilyn plants her pole beans along the bottom. The beans grow up the panels and connect at the top. One of our granddaughters is pictured here, sitting with a kitty in the shade of the beans. See the pic below for the result.

your grandaughter kinda look like she could be heading into an adventure in Alice in Wonderland with the beans and such all around...very cool..

your wife is a much better gardner than I..my hats off 2 her:)

That's a clever idea, Cliff. Nothing worse than bend-over gardening; hard on the back and knees. Plus, it has built-in shade for those hot summer days.

I see your granddaughter is still showing the cats who's the Alpha pet of the house. What a cutie!
