My grandson went to a party and recieved this nifty little gift. A fast little car with a hard wired remote. The wire is very delicate, and 12" long. Upon calling for movement with the remote. The car took off and broke the wire on the first try. I have a lot of questions for a lot of people.
Did I mention that the little wire attaches to the car underneath?

FLIPPIN' IDIOTS! Don't worry Dad, I'm sure the designers got fired, they now work for GM.
Okay. So much for whoever designed that! Duh!!
(I think I'd write them a letter!)
Hmmmmm.
Now comes the challenge. "Can you fix it, Grampuh?"
Cliff, if I were in your shoes, I'd say, "You know your Uncle Dan has a bodyshop....".
12" Who can only drive that far?? You can fix it,, you been fixin stuff for a LONG time huh....
Planned obsolesence on an immeadiate scale Cliff.
With only a twelve inch attached wire, he would have been having to run around closely behind the car. He might as well have pushed it.
I hate it when that happens! But it's a good-looking car.
Cliff
I'm just guessing but the car was foreign built - right?
Ralph
Karen, Jr. #5, has a yellow Barbie Corvette with a wire loose. Her wires are at least six feet long. Unlike the one you are dealing with, hers is low tech so I could put it back on.
One of these days I will check on e-Bay to see how valuable this 25 year old toy is.
bummer, but still nice wheels though;)
I think you need to submit that to Jay Leno for the Tonight show routine. It's a classic!
Is he supposed to jog beside it?
