PLEASE REMEMBER THESE....
AND THOSE WHO SERVE US NOW. THIS IS IN FRONT OF THE BURT COUNTY, NEBRASKA, COURTHOUSE IN TEKAMAH. THANKS TO THESE MEN, WE ARE STILL FREE. EVERY COUNTY ACROSS THIS GREAT LAND WILL HAVE A SIMILAR LIST. MOST OF THE FAMILY NAMES HERE, ARE FAMILIAR TO THIS DAY, IN OUR COUNTY. INVESTMENT IN FREEDOM, HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MONEY.

May we all wear a poppie today and stand united as one world as one people.
This is the weekend I miss Tekamah. The town always does things up good. A lot visit because it is also alumni weekend at the high school.
We were there for the 2001 (my big 50 high school year) and 2005 (sister, Lois 50) activities.
Coffee on the Porch at the museum is my favorite, next is the dinner at the Chatt Senior center.
..
I'll just add a very reverent, "Amen".
Thank you for the reminder that this day is not just about swimming and barbqueing. My brother is preparing to go to Iraq and this day was a stark reminder of what people have lost and what brave men and women have died for this country.
I'm with Mike on this one.
Amen and Amen.
Cliff,
That's an awesome memorial to those soldiers. Thanks for posting the picture.
