This photo of my Son and I and our Brides belongs with the August 8th post The Member-Guest Tourney. Dan sent me the photo from his camera.This was at the end of our Friday night 9-Hole Scramble. We found out that there was a nice prize for being in last place. In the 'Having Fun Department'... we came in 1st. A Purple Ribbon.

************Last Thursday night Marilyn and I forgot to lock the door and who should pop in but the lovely Char and that guy she's been sleeping with.
Ralph and I understand each other pretty well. I was up in the pre-dawn hours this morning, and I knew Ralph and Char wanted to leave early so when I heard Ralph coming downstairs I got up from my computer and met him in the darkened hallway. Without a smile from either one of us I said "Marilyn and I talked last night after you two went to bed and we think it's time for you two to leave." Also without a smile he replied, "We'll eat breakfast and leave, will that be soon enough?" I said "That will be just right." They did.
I hope they come back soon.

haha...so did they make u cook them a gourmet breakfast before the went? or did u throw them the box of Wheaties?

The Having Fun Award is about the only award I could win.
Ralph and Char are good friends which means you never mind them dropping by for short or long visits.
Being comfortable with friends is so great. When I was in CA, our bestest friends ever came over to my parents' for dinner, and we picked up like no time had passed at all. I hadn't seen them in nearly three years!! It was wonderful to hug them and talk and laugh. Good friends are priceless.
ha ha your too darn funny, you should have just given them a pop tart and sent them on their way!! lol
seriously though it is very nice when friends stop by even if it is only for a short time.

I think you may have had more luck with the golf if you played during the day. It looks mighty dark out there.
Glad you had another great visit with the Campbells. It helps that Ralph wasn't there long enough to wreck any of your equipment.
You could almost play that round with Stevie Wonder at that venue Cliff, Just pick a night.
It sounds like you all had a marvellous, fun time, but all this sleeping around is a bit of a worry! ;)
