I've Had To Have A Talk With My Wife

I've had to have a serious talk with Marilyn. After a morning of writing and printing checks for cash rents for farm ground, repair bills, diesel fuel bills, grain bin electricity bills and  basically half of our annual outflows for the farm in just one day... I was in no mood for her choice of stamps to put on said bills. It's just not right.

That's funny. I can't say I want a "love" stamp on my bill payments, either. Fortunately, I pay most of my bills VIA the Internet.

It does seem downright disgusting doesn't it? However, that is a very pretty stamp! Hadn't seen that one yet.

I loved the Fairlane story in the previous post. That is a beautiful car!

I pick my stamps very carefully. No bill payments from our house will get a nice stamp.
We do have too many of those 37¢ Love stamps. I don't know what year it was but we have to add a five and a two stamp so it will mail.

If you need some I can mail them.

Love this post. Made me smile. I used to be guilty of the same thing, until I discovered FOREVER stamps. Now they go on everything.

Don't you LOVE having the ability (and funds) to do this?

Very funny! I know what you mean, seems like Farm Bureau, Union Power, and Farm Credit are the only ones making money.

I think USPS could sell a bundle of "Cliff" stamps, they would picture some sort of gesture and sell right around bill and tax time.

perhaps a picture of a fist and forearm crossed at the elbow by the other fist and forearm and instead of "Love" it could simply have the word "Up".

Lanny, You're reading my mind.

So I guess it's safe to say that you have put Valentine's Day behind you?

And that's why I use the Forever stamps.

I think it's [LOVE] National Policy, Cliff? We're arming Border Law Enforcement with "bean bags" - with all due respect and sympathy the Agent Brian Terry's family.

Hahaha! LOVE stamps are way too cheery for bill paying. They need to have HATE stamps.

Perhaps Marilyn can find some stamps with either a $ sign on them or a frown to show what she really thinks of them? ~ j///b

Happy Spring. The stamp is great. And the bills just keep coming on.
