Debt Ceiling Vote

Senator Ben Nelson of Nebraska said of the recent debt ceiling vote, “This plan sets up a maze of convoluted procedures that will only continue the chaos and political games Nebraskans are tired of seeing,” and said he will oppose it.
I assume he was referring back to the Health Care bill that he was instrumental in passing.

Any chance he is getting with the program now because you guys got his attention? I"m hoping a lot of our politicians will make a turn around but we still won't be able to trust them. We need to clear out the whole bunch.

Washington, DC is a sad state of affairs. We need a huge broom and sweep the whole bunch out and put them in the trash. Then we need you and Ralph to go in and straighten things up! All your blogging friends will vote for you!

I don't even know what to say anymore. "How can you tell they are lying? Their lips are moving." , used to be a joke.
Now it dominates us. I miss America.

Your senator Ben Nelson reminds me of our representative Mike Ross who manages to vote liberal when the Dems really need his vote to pass some crap bill, and then he gets "courage" and votes against the libs when they have enough votes to pass a bill without him. Gag!!!

You've got him pegged JD. He's the worst of all kinds of politicians. I'm surprised he can walk upright without a back brace.
