The boys and I played in a two man eliminator tournament yesterday. Tom, (on the left) teamed with my oldest Brother, to win their flight. Dan, (on right) had to play on my team and we 'also ran'. In this format, you play the front 9 to flight the field. Then play the back to eliminate one team per hole. Those tied with the highest on a hole, are in a chip off to see who goes home and who advances.

Hi Cliff -- That sounds like a nice, fun kind of tournament.
What course did you play? Tekamah has nine holes, right? Or did you do the back nine there too?

I own a set of golf clubs and a pink golf bag. It is so cute! I haven't played in YEARS. My hubby bought me the clubs years ago when we played some. I'd like to get back into it. I enjoyed it when I played.

Nice photo.

Yes Marty, your Dad will have to take some heat for this one. The only two times they've paired up, they've won.

Man, I'm still back on hold 1 trying to perfect my grip! I've only recently gotten into the true game (as opposed to work-related best ball tourney's).

Robin Williams did a bit on the Scottish and their creation of the sport. It was full of less than desireable language, but it was very, very funny.

Cliff
Fran and Tom sound like they are doing quite well. Won't be long until someone wants to bust up that winning combination.
