Jamie Dawn Gets Hers!

Even though they had just met each other, the three bloggers shown here, Jerry, Jamie Dawn, and Rachel, were having a discussion. The meeting was called by J. D. and she's shown here explaining how much she will miss her daughter Courtney when she leaves home for college.
Here JD motions "how tall" she is willing to accept for a replacement child but that she would prefer a baby. In an effort to show how serious she is, she is offering some of her truffles to anyone who will help her.
She explains here that she has spotted a suitable child and wants these two to help with the dastardly deed.

Thanks to Rachel's quick thinking (and distaste for truffles) she informed me of the plot that was directed at my youngest grandchild.

Here JD is ready to get into her car and make a quick get away. Immediately after this picture was taken I snatched the babe and saved him from that fate feared by every grandparent. That of having an offspring become a Razorback.
Right after this picture was taken, Rachel wrestled JD to the ground and made her eat mayonnaise. Rachel was yelling "Here, eat this you hitonious baby thief!" It was really quite ugly.

This last picture shows the result of the despicable act. John and Terah were terribly frightened and refused to let little Jacob out of their sight until Jamie Dawn left for Arkansas.
You can sure see the tension on the toddlers face although John and Terah seem to be taking the incident in stride.

Oh my gosh, that is the funniest thing ever. A replacement for Courtney and JD punished by eating mayonaise. You got to know these folks very well. LOL!

That's how I remember it too.

And I would have gotten away with it too if it hadn't been for Rachel!!!!
There were so many darling kids at Blogstock. I was in hog heaven getting to hold Hudson. He was enamored with my 4th of July beads, and so he kind of liked me a lot. That made me very happy!
Hudson told me that he secretly WANTS to be a Razorback, and he wants to soak in some hot springs.
Can I help it if the kid wanted to come home with me?
I'd try to hold Taylor on my hip like that, but I don't think he'd fit anymore.
As for being force-fed mayo...
No way, Jose!! That could not have happened, or else I would have given up the ghost right there, and you'd be writing a memorial tribute to me instead of this funny, enjoyable post.
Rachel may be mean, but she's NOT THAT mean.

Oh, that Jamie Dawn! I wish she'd come over here to Pancake Flats and try to take my grandkids.

Abduction, hidden Razorback agenda, the mayo treatment ala Jack Bauer .... did you copy this from the Series "24", Season 7 ?????

You were wise to stick close to Hudson, Cliff.

Obviously at the next Blogstock I need to spend less time walking in the corn with Jacob. I seem to have completely missed the plot! Ah well, there's always next time.

By the way, Jacob can say "cherry" now. No idea how that happened....

I guess there are worse things in life than being a Razorback!! As a result of the mayo eating I think JD really has grown to love the stuff. Hellman's is her favorite brand now and she regularly has truffles dipped in Hellman's. See what great things Blogstock brought about? Of course she will never admit to the world that she likes mayo.

Hi Cliff, after all these times that still breaks me up every time I type it, I'm not going to buy into the things that did or didn't happen at Blogsock 08 seeing as I wasn't there, but this comment has to do with any forth-coming events you may undertake.
I have just watched the movie "Mr. Woodcock" a feature of this film set in the farming town of Forest Meadow, Nebraska, is the annual "Cornival" there are "corntestants", "cornversations", and unlimited use of "corny" humour which I'm sure you could improve on should you decide to borrow.. (OK, steal) the idea.
Don't take this as an endorsement of the film, I thought it was pretty corny, but as a worthwhile successor to Blogstock I thought it offered possibilities.
Please accept this as a parting gesture from someone who has enjoyed the little side trips we have shared over the years.
Peter.

I wondered who would break the story. We've all been protecting this woman for too long!
And she's not paid off the promise of truffles for our silence.

I think Jamie Dawn would love to have a few more kids running around the house. Courtney could take lots of pictures of them and Taylor could sing to them. The Reverend JD could make them ushers at her church and they could take care of ADI, now that Jim has a new pup.
