Our Vacation in Reverse Order

The last day of our vacation we decided to divert thru Lincoln to spend the night with the kids and pick up one of our cars. We had left it there to be repaired while we traversed the country side. When we got there we found out that the local airbase was having an air show the next day and that planes of various descriptions had been flying over all day practicing for the show. Before we got to Morrow Collision Center our boys just about had the pee-water scared out of them when these guys flew over at about 200 feet above the shop. The big doors were open so they ran to the door to see them. They are the Blue Angels and they conveniently turned around and came back over the shop for an encore. When it was over the boys went back into the body shop, picked their wrenches up off of the floor and continued repairing cars.

Then we arrived and got to see the latest improvement to the bodyshop. This is a spot welder capable of factory quality spot welds and of knocking several hours of labor off of some of the bigger jobs. Our youngest, the one who was just married, is demonstrating it to us. The gal in red is his Mom and is a poser.

Next: How we spent that night. It was funner than fun.

Cliff,
Those Blue Angels will scare the bejesus out of you. They flew over downtown Kansas City just as we were getting out of mass at the Cathedral. I felt like we should have been looking for a bunker...with an altar.

Glad that you guys got your vacation! My dentist does the Blue Angels' teeth on her reserve duty(the 2week one) She has pictures all over the office of the planes and some with autographs on them. She is originally from Calofornia. Pretty cool huh? But they will scare you, those planes are loudd!

Here's my question....while in Lincoln, have you ever been to Tico's?? The only thing I miss about Nebraska.....*sigh*

Sounds like that was a fun time. I do have a hard time seeing either of those boys dropping a wrench. Laying it done yes - dropping it. .

Mandi, I've never tried that restaurant but nearly every other one in Lincoln.
Rachel: I'm a brave guy so long as you're a couple of states away from me. If you decide to stop out my way...I'll straighten up.

Mandi is right - Tico's shouldn't be missed. I'm not sure my young eyes should read about Cliff and Marilyn's FUN night. Is it going to be something that's on those "for pay" web sites?

Cliff said...

Anonymous: Not to worry. The contents of our FUN night, will be edited to make it suitable for General audiences.
Most of the story line will remain intact.

Gee whiz! Marilyn is an excellent horse trainer and rider, she runs a dog grooming business, tends a lovely garden, and can run an industrial-grade welding machine.
What can YOU do??????
Oh, yeah, I forgot. You ride tractors.

I think people often overlook the importance of grooming their pets as a way to contribute to their overall good health. Here are just a few more tips on pet grooming. You must groom your pets whole body including the legs, tail, and underbody if you want to do it right.
You must groom certain pets from the skin outward to truly be effective in taking care of their coat of hair and keeping it healthy. Comb through the unseen healthy hair and remove the shedding hair; this is what most groomers do first before cutting your pet's coat. You must groom some animals all at once while some other animals have so much hair that it is esier to do a little at a time each day. You know your pet is well mannerd when it will sit still and alow you or a professional to perform regular grooming and maintenence without any fuss. If you feel you just don't have the time or desire to do it yourself, its time to call the professionals. Your dog will love you for it, and you'll feel great about it too. Hope this was helpful.
