A Blog In A Picture

The parents of the new baby sent this funny pic of one of their cars sitting in the driveway. They sent it under the heading 'This says it all.'
If you enlarge it you will see the humor. The backseat wasn't made for childrens safety seats. (or people with legs)
Also if you're looking for a fun car to drive you might give them a call. It's better than perfect condition and $2K under book.
If you are my size, it will make a Christian out of you. Well at least I know that I feel 'born again' every time I get out of it.

Cliff, now really, I couldn't envision you in that tiny little car! It would look like the clown car at the circus, we would be looking for all of the other "big guys" to get out with you! I know that I couldn't get into much less out of that car! It is kind of cute though isn't it? Glad to see that all is well with you and yours!

I think those little cars are so cute. But you're right about the baby seats. Time for a bigger version.

Now wait a minute there lil' Missy. Er Val. I think I just said that one particular post was a little to 'female' for my taste and she just overreacted and took it down. I thought they were wonderful pictures. Cathertine was showing her charm school poses she had learned. She should have left them up.

I remember when he got this car you blogged about it. Now they need a more family friendly car!

I had to laugh at your last couple of sentences there!!

I have a co-worker who has one of those. She can hardly wait to get rid of it. She's expecting and apparently that's a growing problem.

Cliff, I think you would enjoy the Mini Cooper. You should put it on and take if for a spin sometime.

I heard the baby had three potential names when he was born. This might explain why they named him Hudson instead of Cooper.

Mini Coopers, the garage mans friends, we did service work on a few of these when we had the Service station in Brisbane, like a lot of thing good when they were good, horrible at other times.

Same story 46 years later.
My parents had a 1961 Corvette convertible when I was born.
Dad always says that if I’d been a boy he would have saved it for me.
I chose to believe that he is teasing me.

That's just one of many changes they'll be making.
It'll be time to plug up the sockets and put those plastic latch thingies on the cupboards pretty soon.
Their carefree days are over!
I'm sure they don't mind at all. I know I didn't mind when we were blessed years ago with our two bundles of joy and noise.
That's a really cute car. I better not show Courtney that car, or she'll want it.

Cliff ~ Looks like your prediction on Nebraska football was accurate. And now you even have Dr. T.O. as a new A.D. That has got to lifts some spirits in NU? As for the offer of seeing a combine up close... I may take you up on that some day. Can I bring my granddaughters to ride on it too? ~ Later buddy! ~ jb///
P.S. Is that a RED combine with the "FOR SALE" on it?! :-)
Actually it looks like the PERFECT "BABY CAR" to me!

Yep on the grandaughters LZ. Pick a home game Saturday when my brother is at the game and I'll be in charge of running my own combine. Well that and sometime when it's dry enough to work.

No wonder I never had the urge to be born again. I am too short. Thank you for the insight.

Babies sure do make the difference. My daughter sold her motorcycle shortly after the twins were born.

If I was living anywhere but on a gravel road, I would snatch that up in a heartbeat. I know it's been well tended.
