Another GREAT, GREAT article. I really like the statement, ". . .if looking up is hard on your neck, bowing your head will do the same."

Great column... but I have learned to expect that from you. I wish your column were printed here in our local paper. It would really fit in with our way of life.

The noise the last 2 days has been deafening... they are preparing and planting the field next to me - winter wheat, no doubt. Hopefully today's rain will get it off to a quick start and we will have a beautiful ground cover to keep our soil from blowing away in the winter nor'easters we will soon be having.
Blessings on your new baby granddaughter! Can I send her a gift???? We have had nothing but boys for 2 generations and they are sick of me drooling over baby girl stuff in the stores! I am just dying to buy something little, pink, and girly!!!!!!!

Cliff ~ Tried most this before, but for some reason it didn't work... must be this 300 baud modem? Anyway... I hope that you, Marilyn, the kids and grandkids will all be together for Thanksgiving? We all have much to be thankful for! ~ jb///

Well, you're just all right, Cliff. Great article. I know you're enjoying your new grandgirl, which means you have lots and lots to be thankful for. But then again, you're thankful most of the year long anyway, aren't you?

Happy Thanksgiving to you and Marilyn.

Wonderful article Cliff! But, ...
did you provide bailout money for the paper or something? That is a gigantic picture of yourself they allowed you!
Next time just ask, I will send a nice big picture of Adi. She is in the Houston Chronicle Neighborhood editions around here, the publicity won't go to her head.

Happy Thanksgiving to the Morrows, far and wide. See you again at Blogstock '09 this summer.

A wonderful column and congratulations on the birth of little Georgia Kay. Cliffetta indeed! Thank goodness, Marilyn is there to take care of your really, really bad ideas. LOL

Excellent column, Cliff.

And congratulations on getting harvest done. It's snowing today, so I know you're extra grateful to be done.

Love your comment about how "life is measured by the moments that take your breath away."
