MERRY CHRISTMAS!

When I need to get into the Christmas spirit, I watch this video. The soloist is David Phelps. I've been a tenor all of my life but when I listen to him sing it makes me feel like maybe I shouldn't try.
This version of 'O Holy Night' has a brief story at the beginning but if you'll watch the video to the end I think you'll see why I like it. I do believe there was a deal made between God and David for that voice and its use.
If you want to hear a bit more from this artist, look for the song 'The End of the Beginning' by Phelps. There are a lot of versions of these songs on youtube but you'll need to look to find the one with the best quality.

MERRY CHRISTMAS! Gee, it's good to hear that. And know someone who is not afraid to share that greeting.

The movie "A Christmas Story" does it for me; exacting vision of my childhood. I also enjoy the 1938 version of a "A Christmas Carol". Keep singing Cliff.

Merry Christmas, Morrows!

That one is one of my favorites too.
My best favorite is 'Go Tell It on the Mountain.'

Your therma meter says -3. If it isn't lying then you are cold.

I figured out why you were snowed in. You should never park on the wrong side of a snow drift because you'll get stuck trying to get throught it.

Stay warm,
..

Cliff, next time warn the ladies to wait and watch this if they have just applied fresh mascara. Now I have to start all over with my makeup before we can go to town.

Beautiful Christmas video and message for the season. Thanks!

Thanks Grannie for checking it out,
I knew I'd be able to tell who actually lintened to it by their reaction. If you can listen to the last minute of that performance and not stand and cheer or cry or both, you might should have someone check your pulse.

In His name all oppression shall cease.

Nice, very nice indeed. Thank you for sharing that bit of Christmas understanding. Those words still stir no matter who sings them or where, so you just keep singing, even on the snow blasting tractor.

It was beautiful Cliff, and he is a wonderful singer. That song is one of my favorites too.

I also love Mark Lowry's "Mary Did You Know?"
