AFTER

This is how it turned out. The curved shower curtain rod gives a lot more room in the shower. An idea we got from my sister in-law.
When the idea to use cedar, came to me, I had some pressure from Marilyn to do something else. Pressure meaning she lead me around Mennards showing me other possibilites. Turns out she likes it. Now, when you city folks come and spend the night, you won't have to shower before you visit.

Can we still use 'yours' in the basement if we want to?

Nice job but like Jim - can I still use the one in the basement? That basement is great.

Cliff,
What? No more getting hosed off in the front yard?

BTW, I may need some tips. I've got the same situation in my Pepto Bismol pink bathroom with no shower.

Yes the shower in the basement will remain open. I think I possibly may have installed a 'female only' shower here. I like not having to worry about water and stuff in the basement. There is something to be said for a floor that slopes toward a drain.

Wow! You did beautiful work. I like those curve rods. I've seen those in some hotels we've stayed in. Very nicely done, Cliff. You can tell Marilyn that Jamie Dawn said she was WRONG about the cedar and she owes you an apology for mistrusting your good judgment.

I just found this website and thought you might like it, too. Still can't figure out how to set up links on my Blog, but this one is worthy of the effort to figure it out. Thanks for your postings, they are a lift to the spirit.

Where did you find the shower curtain rod? We've just seen them in motels and would love to add one to our tub.

Looks great, Cliff!

We have a bathroom (original to the house) that I refuse to let any guest enter. Maybe someday it'll look as nice as this, but I'm not holding my breath.

Annonymous, we bought the shower rod at Bed,Bath, and Beyond.
Their selection of curtains was really good too. We've got the waterproof one on the inside and the heavy one stays outside.
