HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

I wish for you and your family a Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving.
I've read that you can't outgive God and that if you think you can, just try it.
That's true. And today is set aside to be Thankful. I am, and for so many things we are given in this life to make it so fulfilling.
We're are going to have family here today. Our family from Colorado is here too. Ralph and Char came in last night. Ralph made cranberry sauce. We are going to cook two smaller turkeys. We're going to fix one using Mike's method. I expect great things from that.
We are going to fix one in the deep fat fryer. Neither Ralph or I have experience doing this. I shall report how that went. We plan to do it far enough away from the house so as not to make national news with the resulting fire.

Have a great one Cliff. Wish I could join you!! If I see any smoke signals going up I will know that the turkey cooking got out of control. teehee

You probably are too busy to read this today, with all the preparations, etc.

So glad Ralph and Char are there too!! Naturally we will expect to see great pictures!!!

Blessings to you all!!

"....as not to make national news with the resulting fire." LOL

I hope you enjoy the turkey(s) - the encompassing family is what makes the day though. Enjoy, my friend! :)

Hi Cliff

I hope that the turkeys went well. We had a nice time at our friends and then took Gran to the airport. I am sad now but I haven't got time to be too sad because the little guy is sick in our bed. Poor boy.

Take care xx

I hope you had a great Thanksgiving day. We all hav eso much to be thankful for.
I noticed when reading your profile that you like gospel and quartet music. Have you ever heard the Circuit Riders perform?
One of the singers, Rick, is my nephew. I may be a bit prejudiced but I think they are very good. Rick's son also sings with them
Here is an URL to visit their site.

They have sound clips so you can get an idea what they sound like. I love their rendition of "God Bless The USA!"

I'll bet those turkeys were good. Have to watch what goes into Colorado cranberry sauce though.
I hope you all are still friends after the Colo / Nebr game!

Indeed, we have a whole bucket of things for which we're giving thanks. Loads. And one is the memory of one of the greatest meals I ever ate: deep fried turkey. My son cooked it. I stood beside him for 55 minutes cheering him on. Hmmm-hhhhmmmm!! Good! I'll never forget it. (That was in the year 2000.)
