Overheard

At yesterdays board meeting, two of our members who are both from the Swedish Capital of Nebraska, (a neighboring town) were visiting about a mutual friend who had dealt them both fits over the past few weeks. One of the men said, "Well you know what they say, you can always tell a Swede...you just can't tell him much."

That's what my husband's cousin said to him once, except his last name in place of the Swede part!

I imagine that applies to lots of folks!! Ha!HA!

To quote the Swedish statesman Dag Hammarskjold “The longest journey of any person is the journey inward”. There’s a lot of that “don’t get it” going around. Heh – don’t cha know? :)
