This is a picture of one of my Grandaughters sleeping in a carseat. Do not try this position at home without the aid of a diaper.
Just trust me on this one.
This view from the porch is a week old. It proves that I'm having trouble with the lens on my camera. The same lens that made me look overweight in the photo below, makes those corn rows look crooked. I'll admit that they aren't 'perfectly straight' but as I've mentioned before, it's hard to plant straight rows because of the constant rotation of the earth. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

And I think you should stick to your story, Cliff. No one will notice once the corn has grown, anyway, so it won't matter that they're not straight...oops, I mean that they are straight! ;)
I love that pic of your grand-daughter...it's a classic!
Cliff,
Those rows ARE straight. I'll have to send you a picture of my brother's rows of corn. I always accuse him of drinking and planting.
I could never figure out why Ole Blue was so paranoid about straight rows. My theory is that if they're crooked you get more seed planted in the spring, therefore more yield in the fall.
Cute picture - when they crash, they crash. Don't they? And I love seeing pictures of your place, Cliff. Thanx.
Have a great Memorial Day with your family and be safe! It's a very special day holiday .... I even posted. Ha! ;)
Hi Cliff, point taken about trying that sleeping pose at home, don't think my legs would get up there anyway.
I never thought about the earths rotation making it hard to plant corn straight, that would be worse if you're planting across the direction of rotation.
That's a very limber baby. She looks pretty comfy though. How is that possible????
As long as the cobs of corn come out straight, I guess it doesn't matter.
:) cute pic of that baby!
....and -I think my camera is defective too...It always makes me look fat-PLUS puts wrinkles in my face!

Hi Cliff -- We are back (early) now. I've even posted my status!
Our dads didn't put up with those crocked tows, did they?
..
Cliff ~ I see a future olympic gymnist here. As for the crooked corn rows... time for a new lens! ~ jb///
I started laughing as soon as your page opened. What a picture!
My First Wife and I are about to buy a new digital camera. Tell us what kind you have so we won't have those lens problems, too. 'Specially, the problem of looking overweight...
I just love the piccies. Cute, cute Grandaughter.
I beleive you about the lens Cliff.
By the way the cereal is down aisle 5.
Take care xx
ok i think the rows look pretty straight to me!!! so i am with you it is the lens. on a serious note why do they have to be straight?? i would love to hear the hystory on that on. your granddaughter is too damn cute. how limber we used to be as babies and then we get old and can't even cross our legs or bed over!!! lol
Diaper or not, I can't get there...
Just read your last comment on Paul's Cobb salad post and laughed aloud, so I had to come over for a visit. I think that is the cutest picture I've ever seen!!!
Allison is really relaxed there!! It took me a minute to study that picture to see she has her feet on the rails and not just stuck up in the air!! LOL
I think your rows look straight. I say you done good Cliff!
Funny those lenses. They even make the tractor look as if it's been out in the mud!
This is so funny. I just love the positions that some kids can sleep in and I also like that explanation of your crooked corn rows. Works for me.
That is so cute! kids can sleep in the most unusual ways, can't they?
