Chivalry May Not Be Dead

Ralph and Char were here for Thanksgiving. That is always a treat. I'll have more on that next time. It will include a hunting expedition you won't want to miss.
The delay is because I'm having a computer built. One that works. The other one died. When I get it back I'll begin to try to catch up on all of the bookkeeping entries necessary for two businesses and then load pictures from my camera. That is where the pics of Ralph and his hunting expedition are located.
While Ralph was here we were watching a little TV. And thus many commercial announcements. One got our attention and gave us an idea. I then took Ralph to the porch and pointed to the vast expanse of barren ground out there and told him of my idea. He thought it was too cold for my idea but opined that if I wanted to try it that I should proceed on my own. If successful he said he would do the same thing in his culdesac.
SO here's my idea...., picture a grayish-brown soil with a wisp of dirty snow on it. 150 acres of frozen ground. It is about 20 degrees and then right in the middle of this barren ground, you find two of these side by side.
I hope I don't have to wait for Ralph to find someone to use these with. Marilyn hasn't warmed up to the idea yet. I don't understand that. The folks on TV seem to be having fun.
I'll probably end up sending them back.

Bad news Cliff. When I returned home I read our homeowners association by-laws (again). Article XVI, Section 132. Line 9 is very specific about, “No outside bathing will be allowed.” Wish I had seen that sooner. Oh well.

The folks on TV were under all those hot lights. Don't think it's gonna work for you.

You’re on the right track, albeit, I prefer the Hot Springs variation on your theme. Definitely a good time! OH, and you might want to bump up the privacy.

I've always wondered about that commercial. What the heck are those two doing bathing in the yard? Now a hot tub I could understand, but the tubs?

Looks like it will be great fun when it's really hot there this summer Cliff! You are so close though, you could just go to the river!

Put the idea on the back burner until the next Blogstock Cliff, it could be a winner then.

The only thing that would make those tubs inviting would be for them to be located INSIDE a warm house and filled with warm-almost hot water. Even better if they are filled with Hot Springs' water since it is supposed to cure what ails you.
The cold is a detriment to the success of your business plan.
If Marilyn rolled her eyes at your idea, then you might ought to not plan on her ever warming up to the idea. She can't "warm up" to an idea that is set outside in the freezing cold.
Bottom line, and it pains me to say this, but it kind of sucks.

I've seen that commercial. I asked, "That's not how you make love, is it, Hunny?"

She rolled her eyes.

Yep Paul, I thought that was what we've been missing but apparently not. At least according to my wife.

Good luck convincing anyone of this idea. Even in our very warm climate, we found it chilly outdoors when the wind blows and the temperature drops to 50 degrees. We moved our hot tub onto the enclosed porch. . . much more comfortable!

I would roll my eyes too! I would rather take a quick dip in the river! But I tend not to do anything naked when I am outside!

Oh Cliff, that makes me shiver just to think of that chivalry.

I know what commerical you got the idea from (wink). My husband and I laugh at that commerical every time we see it........He teases me with the same basic idea as yours....I tell him "no way"! It's much more fun inside....

Cliff ~ Isn't there already a Cyalisis commercial like this already? Of course I don't think it has you and Ralph in it... at least NOT the one that I saw! ~ jb///
P.S. I can't wait to hear about the hunting trip based on the claw-footed tub proposal discussed here!

I could never figure out the bathtubs in the middle of nowhere, either. I'm with Marla; I have a policy against doing any thing naked outside in any kind of weather.
