MEMORIAL DAY IN BURT COUNTY
(click on photos to enlarge) A community pauses to pay respect to those whom we owe our Freedom. This is a War Memorial in front of, and to the south of the Burt County Courthouse in Tekamah, NE.
Cliff It is events like that truly make me love Tekamah. It might be a small town but you people do things right. You do them with dignity and class with some fun thrown in at the appropriate moment. Nicely done, thanks for posting the photos. Ralph
WOW Cliff those pictures are beautiful! Nice green grass too! I bet your glad to have your family coming back near you. today is Friday already, have a great week end. OH the kleenex is on it's way. Thanks for the reading.
Midwestern, smaller communities have a lot of class that the rest of the country could learn from. I guess in smaller communities in general where people really know each other, they appreciate what is truly important in life.

Wonderful Cliff. They are beautiful pictures and everything looks well tended and cared for. There's just something about seeing all those flags.
