John Goerzen has written a 3 part Memories of Christmas blog. It's worth reading and you need to read them in order. Go HERE and go down to number 1 first and work your way up. Great stuff John. Number 3 got to me. I really think you'll like these.

Thanks, Cliff and Rachel, for your kind words. I'm never quite sure how interesting stories about my family will be to others. Part 4, on this year, should be posted in a couple of days once all the Christmas gatherings have happened.

And Cliff, I'm with you on the going south thing. I'd be more tempted to go north and see some more snow in winter.
