Self Important At It's Finest!!

Danny Devito has been on theView and thus Rosie O'Donnell's lap ( they claim that could be??). As of late. I don't/and would never consider, watching that show (The View that is because of O'Donnell).
Then Danny was on Letterman. I crossed that show on the way to watch Jimmy Kimmel. I caught DeVito walking on stage to a warm greeting by Letterman who of course would be Very Impressed by this tiny little man. I quickly changed the channel before they started their little lovefest.
Did you know that Letterman, Rosie, Devito and myself all have something in common. Well here it is. In the grand scheme of life,,we are all totally, completely, and without equivocation, very insignificant people. The problem is that 3 of us don't know it.

How true. By the way, I didn't like The View before Rosie was on either so I still don't watch it. Ewwwww

You're preaching to the choir, Cliff. Don't look now , but they are gaining on us. Sheeple watch wide-eyed ,believing that The View, The Daily Show and ANY celebrity gaggle exude wisdom, leadership, define charcater and deep thought. Case in point, sheeple consider it "NEWS" that Brittany Spears and Paris Hilton are now doing the town without their underwear. The new fashion message to young girls is to flash everything - everything. That mindlessness, in itself , is an unspeakable commentary. The good news is, research
has shown that you are absolutely correct in your bottom line assessment.

Cliff
Well it appears you are just working off the 'short list'. You forgot a few like Tom and Katie, Britney, Paris, pro sports figures, etc.

Now Cliff, I don't think that you are insignificant. The other three yes, but not you! I do not watch those shows either. But if you had a show I'm sure I'd watch it!

Rosie's on the View? Good Lord; motherhood had rendered me officially 'out of the loop'. Not sure I was ever really in it though (How'd you become so hip, Cliff?)

I guess if these folks had a blog, I might do a better job of keeping tabs.

Say, Cliff, just stopped by again. Glad I did! Rachel has a super idea - you need your own show!!! That would nip this stuff in the bud!!!

Hey Rosie has a blog.

Ummm I like Danny though (sorry). Scragend thinks Letterman is double a s and so do I.

I read a book once about a nanny who nannied for Danny Devito and said that both parents were very involved in their childrens lives. Well as much as they could be. I don't agree with other people parenting your children. Anyway I am just babbling.

Take care xx

Cliff,
I saw the Danny DeVito appearance on "The View" replayed on the web. My personal opinion was that he was not drunk, but extremely hungover (from one who knows the difference). He didn't slur his words, but his thoughts were a jumble. He just needed a pillow to rest his head, which is probably why he headed toward Rosie.

I remember David Letterman being our weatherman in Indianapolis. He got fired for being a smartass. He once gave a forcast that there was hail the size of canned hams in Muncie. My Mom just hated him; she wanted her forecast and no funny stuff. I believe David's Mom still lives in Speedway; she's a sweetheart.
