I prefer RED jelly beans. You?
And why do they make white ones?
Only at this blog will you find hard hitting, current events, like this.

When at your house, I'll take the beef jerky.

Red, sure - but what BRAND? (I prefer Starburst jelly beans the best...)

I read your previous post; how comforting it is to see others on the road as well. (Thanks for organizing my thoughts so well!)

Oh no BLACK jelly beans are the best!!! However, red do come in second. Starburst does not make BLACK jelly beans.

...and here's some more late-breaking, hard-hitting jelly bean information:

At the Jelly Belly 'factory', imperfect jelly beans are separated and sold as "Belly Flops." They're pretty tasty, too.

Hard hitting current events? Well, to tell you the truth I seldom ever eat a jelly bean. If someone has some laying around and offers me one I'll take it, but otherwise it's few and far between that I eat them. I never buy them.

But if I had my druthers, I'd have to agree and reach and choose a red one! But the white ones are okay too, taste wise.

Thank you Cliff for keeping us up to date with the current events in the jelly bean world. Your mind must keep so busy!!

Sorry I had to delete the other comment but I forgot whose blog I was posting on (not much sleep last night).

You sure do ask the burning questions!

I like the Starburst ones and Jelly Belly ones. I'm not too picky about which color/flavor, but I don't want those wacky jalapeno or buttered popcorn flavored ones.

Also, I like both red and black licorice.
Shucks! Now, I have a hankering for licorice!

Starburst Jelly beans are AWSOME! Iprefer sweet Jelly beans, rather than the spicy ones, wheras, my Dad enjoyed only the black jelly beans! One year, I took some to his headstone and left them for him, a small gesture of memory, but it comforted me. Anyhow, I never understood the whole white jellybean thing, they taste like paste, you know the kind most kids ate in Kindergarden!? YUCKY!

How about some Hot Tamales? Now you're talkin'.

Why bother with jelly beans where there are so many wonderful chocolate desserts to eat? :-)

Well finally! Something we can agree on! Yes, Cliff, red ones are the best.

This is too personal to be a polite question, Cliff. Green.

I almost missed this. Red of course unless someone left a black one.
Starburst? I thought they made that square candy?

No jelly beans for me...although I am not diabetic, sugar is not my best friend. But when I was a kid I always liked the red ones, although I had to be careful. Cherry red, not the hot ones. White was usually coconut wasn't it? I absolutely hated the green, purple, and yellow ones too.

I am not a fan of Starburst jelly beans... I like the good old fashioned Brachs brand. My favorite flavor would ahve to be black, followed by yellow, orange, and red. You can keep the white, pink, and purple ones. Yup, I am so glad that someone invented jelly beans... even though they now sometimes refer to them as jelly bird eggs...sheesh! Forget the Cadbury eggs and chocolate rabbits... just give me the jelly beans!

I quite liked the Smuckers ones.

I am certainly glad we are past the cold war years or I would have thought the "red" jelly beans question was some kind of pinko commie clandestine message. Forgive me, I am posting pre-morning coffee. =)

Count me in for black jelly beans as a favorite. I have no idea that there were specific brands other than Jelly Bellies. So much for my ability as a a connoisseur of fine over the counter J.B's.

My favourites are the red ones, too, but they must be cinammon flavor. I also like coconut. I despise licorice! (You are forewarned. ;)
