Every farm needs a little girl around. This is my little farm girl's...little farm girl and she lives on our farm.
She recently had her 5th birthday. One of her gifts was this screen porch for butterflies. She wanted to paint it all by herself. No help please. Little Miss independent she is.
She got the paints from Grandma and came back with this finished project. We think it is fairly remarkable for a 5 year old.

Pretty good
What a cutie and she seems to be an artist in the making.
Take care xx
They're the BEST! Aren't they? Moreover, they keep you young.
Independent thinking artists are the best kind! What a cutie, too!
This seasoned artist gives her a huge hug along with an official endorsement to keep expressing her creativity! I also am ecstatic that you all did not "encourage her to keep within the ______ lines!" Creativity flows without costraints. Beauitifully and cheerfully painted,to be cherished.
P.S. Cliff, in reply to your comment, I was lucky enough to have 3 great grandparents alive for my childhood and even one into my teens- and no, my parents did not marry "super young." I hope I inherit those "stick around genes!"
She likes rich vibrant colors! An artist in the making and she loves butterflies. Great farm girl! Cute too!
oh she is so cute..
and she paints better then I do..
Cliff,
If memory serves me, you were teaching her how to water paint properly when I was out there in May. The student has surpassed the master.
She is a free spirit for sure.
cliff she is so cute!! she has to make that farm such a happy place. oh i told drew what you said and you said he looked like superman he was so proud. i am gonna post about it in a minute. thanks for making my kids days!!

That is a nice paint job.
Be careful, you might lose her to the body shop guys, at least for summers.
She could go next to some furniture pieces, she did so good. Start with the closet furniture, progress to the kithchen, porch, bedrooms, and finally the living room. Keep her away from the bathroom though, people spend too much time there anyway.
..
She's a little beauty with a melt-your-heart smile!!
Her painting shows great creativity.
Pretty and talented... you better be ready to get out the shotgun when the boys start lining up at the farm.
