FULL CIRCLE

Look! They've finally quit drooling, hitting each other on the rear, and going potty in their diapers. They no longer need help eating, drinking, and they don't need entertained anymore.
We no longer have to tuck them in or put them to bed, or tell them to be nice to strangers.
And as I get older, I hope the roles don't get reversed.

wow Cliff, you have a beautiful family..

um, if my hubby kicks off..can I marry one of your sons? Just wondering?

You sure have good lookin' kids Cliff, umm, Marilyn must be a looker.

Christina: The one on the right is married. The one on the left is also keeping some pretty steady company with a gal from Lincoln. Either way, you'd have a pretty good fight on your hands.
My daughter did say a while back that she wanted to be your friend but the miles may be a problem. btw, she's my piano player for the choir.

Beautiful family Cliff! You and Marilyn have been blessed.

However, I'm a little confused. (Yeah I know, nothing new about that) In the last sentence you said it would soon be your turn to take over those activities again....so does that mean Marilyn is pregnant???

Cliff said...

Uh, they'd have to start another Christmas for that to happen Rachel. I told Marilyn it needed reworded and so I will.

Well Cliff, I'm glad you clarified that! I was going to get busy crocheting that baby afghan. (Or get you both some nerve pills).

You should be very proud! I think they should have to keep YOU entertained for the remainder of your days and feed you or change your diaper if necessary.

BEAUTIFUL and PHOTOGENIC. They MUST take after Marilyn. ;)
Loved your clincher line- when I told my kids that could happen someday, they sure rolled their eyes. Happy New Year, Morrows!!!!

Okay gel and Peter, this recurring theme of they must take after Marilyn reminds me of a lady here in town who told me, "Cliff, your daughter is so talented and good looking,,,,is she adopted"?
JD, I'm not sure but I think my boys think they'll be able to hire someone to change my diaper.
Rachel: there will be no starting over.

Cliff,
You get one generation all trained, and then along comes another. Looks like you're doing a fine job with the grandkids too. Great pic of the kids. What a good lookin' litter!

I hope you never have the roles reversed for your sake and the kids. I don't think Depends come in a Husky size.

Happy New Year, Cliff and Marilyn! Hope to see you again sometime soon.

Cliff said...

Well Jerry you got me to laughing there. Husky size!!
My Mom used to buy me 'Husky' jeans.

Whoa! What a great picture. I'm with you in the role reversal about crapping in your pants. I didn't care for it the first time. Robin Williams described baby poop as a cross between toxic waste and velcro.

That's a beautiful family, Sir.

Happy 2006, my brother. ^5!!! BTW we've got some good NFL football coming up. I'm looking forward to the Rose Bowl, too. Of course, I'm looking to Texas. ;)

Wow Cliff! Maybe you ought to start over. Help populate the world with beautiful people.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Good one Jerry, Husky size Depends!

I hope Cliff the roles don't have to be reversed but we never know what will happen in life. I'm sure they will do the best thing that they can for the both of you, should it come to that.

Blessings for a Happy New Year to you and all the Morrow clan!

Speaking of role reversal- Our eight year-old tells us she can't wait to tell us to eat our vegetables and that we aren't leaving the table until our plate is cleaned!!

Cliff, wonderful family you have. thanks for sharing the pictures with us over the last few months.

Wishing you and your family a healthy and happy New Year!

Cliff, great looking family! It does take two to make them, so, you did have something to do with it. Happy and Healthy New Year, and if the roles are reversed, your kids will make sure that you are well taken care of.......you brought them up right?
